Job description

Fetch.AI is actively seeking a talented and experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee a wide variety of critical projects through to implementation. These projects are highly complex and require excellent technical ability and communication skills across teams to enable successful delivery.

You will have a strong technical background in software development and will have had project management experience in a commercial environment. You will also be able to confidently work with exceptional software developers and have the gravitas to lead.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects with oversight throughout the entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge stakeholder requirements and company goals
  • Coordinate various teams and technical personnel during all project phases
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables
  • Communicate proactively with all involved team members to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Analyse project plans and provide actionable feedback to stakeholders
  • Review proposed modifications on project plans
  • Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.

Skills and experience

  • Significant experience in leading commercial software teams
  • Experience of a start-up environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills across the corporate structure
  • Proven success in delivering complex software projects on time

Preferred experience

  • Proficiency with C++11
